Up for sale is a very nice EX/VG+ copy of the 2nd album by Patto. “Hold Your Fire” was released back in 1971 on the legendary Vertigo Swirl label.
The disc is a solid EX copy. The playback is loud and clear with only very minor background Crackle, especially during songs and very beginning and run-out. Nothing really serious. The disc shows a few minor hairlines but none of them are audible. Both labels are nice and clean with a few spindle traces. Overall a very nice copy!
The three panel gatefold is VG+. It shows signs of age and storage wear. The very fragile panel cover is fully intact but shows signs of yellowing and storage wear. The back shows some ring and a small price tag can be found on the bag. All nothing really serious IMHO.
This copy comes with the correct dated Swirl inner sleeve.

About this record.
Among collectors “Patto” is a well known prog outfit which released 3 albums during the Golden Era. The first two came out on the Vertigo Swirl label and are very collectable.
“Hold Your Fire” is the second LP and came out back in 1971. It’s a solid piece of Prog with some Heavy Rock influences. The cover is an amazing “Roger Dean” piece of art. One of his best album covers IMO, but not a typical Dean piece. The three panel gatefold is extremely fragile and often fully trashed.
