Up for sale is an official Test pressing with unfinished proof cover of the 1975 Grand Funk LP “Born to Die”. A must have collectable piece for fans of “Grand Funk Railroad”.
The disc looks amazing and probably played only a couple of times. The album plays amazing with a loud and clear sound! Both white labels are top clean with only a very few spindle traces.
The sleeve looks great and is in this case a printed and folded piece of heavy paper. Alle corners and edges are sharp and intact. Both top and bottom contains minor tape residue. On the back the text “Regared As The Masters Of America’s Heavy Metal Music Scene” is hand written.

About this record.
Grand Funk Railroad is well known among most music lovers. The group was formed in Flint (Michigan) in 1968 and released quite a few albums from which the most came out in the 70’s.
“Born To Die” was released in 1975.
The copy up for sale here is a proof copy which was used to get the approval for production. As you might expect it was never ment to go into the open market. A rare piece indeed!
