Up for sale is the best copy I’ve ever seen of “Alex Harvey – Roman Wall Blues” released in 1969 on the “Fontana” label.
The disc is in stunning NM condition. It looks and plays like new. An absolute prestine example of this rarity! Both labels are lovely clean and in like new condition.
The laminated single sleeve is in amazing EX+ condition. For sure, the best copy I have seen. No nasty defect. Lovely sheen on the laminate, fully readable spine and sharp edges and corners.
It’s very difficult to find this sleeve in decent condition.
This copy comes with the correct polylined inner.

About this record.
Alex James Harvey is the full name of artist Alex Harvey. Mostly known for his top rock albums with “The Sensantional Alex Harvey Band”. Before this, Alex Harvey released a couple of solo albums which I think this album and “The Joker Is Wild” are the best known albums.
“Roman Wall Blues” consists a very interesting and well crafted selection of Bluesy Psych songs. Fantastic musicianship and very interesting to listen from start to finish.
The stunning cover design is done by Robin Nicol. Probably inspired by the work of “Marcus Keef”.
